《 Searchig for Paradise 》
War,terrorism,nuclear plant accident,earthquake,global warming ...
When I feel uneasiness and fear in my life, I imagine about the place where all living things can live on
peacefully forever. And then I am reminded of a word "paradise".
However I know that such a convenient place does not exist practically because almost living things must kill for
eating other living thing and nobody can get away from death. Still I dream of "the paradise" which there may be somewhere.
今、自分たちが住んでいるこの世界で、そこはかとない不安とか、恐怖を感じたとき、私は「楽園」という言葉を思い浮かべます。
生きていく以上、みんな何かを殺して食べなければならないし、誰しも死からは逃れられないのだから、そんな都合の良い場所が現実に存在しない事はわかっています。それでも、私はどこかにあるかもしれない「楽園」を夢想してしまいます。
そんな事を考えながらぼんやりと街を眺めていると、私と同じような思いで「楽園」を捜し、彷徨う動物たちの姿がどこかに見つかるような気がします。
